Ghost ants are not dangerous, don’t cause physical harm to people, nor cause property damage. That doesn’t mean they would be welcome inside our homes. Ghost Ants can contaminate food sources and spread bacteria. Ghost ants are tiny and difficult to see. Their colonies have multiple queens which is the main reason they are difficult to eradicate.
